Three kinds of room, all with their own bathroom and all on the same quiet corridors. The plans are drawn from the rooms themselves, with the beds where they stand.
Veranda rooms

Thirty-two rooms on the first and second floors open onto the iron verandah through a glazed door. They hold one large bed and a small writing table, and look over the park towards the Colonnade. Light sleepers should ask for the second floor.

Garden rooms

Twenty-six rooms face the garden at the back of the house and are the quietest in the building. Each has two beds that can be pushed together and a tiled bathroom with a shower. These are the rooms we give to most travellers on the night before a protocol.
