Protocol P-07, Tuscany
Below the village of Saturnia, warm water flows over a series of pale travertine ledges into natural pools, open to anyone at any hour. The Maremma around it is a rolling country of farms, oak woods and towns carved out of soft volcanic stone.
Duration

Meet at
Hotel hall, Mariánské Lázně
Indicative price
From CZK 39,900 per person
The price is indicative, per person in a shared double room. A manager confirms the final price when you send a request, because flights and hotel rates move with the season.
This protocol runs out of season on purpose. The pools are warmer than the air from October to May, the farmhouses take small groups, and the roads are empty.

Day 1
To Tuscany
From the hotel to the airport for a flight to Bologna and a drive south to a farmhouse near Saturnia.

The Etruscan road cut deep into the tufa, the tombs in the woods and a small Romanesque church.

A town that seems to grow out of its cliff. A walk around it, a long lunch, and an evening back in the pools.
Day 5
Home
The drive to Bologna and the flight home, then the road to Mariánské Lázně.
